He does nothing to increase my faith in him. Maybe Smith is injured/isolating or something else (and the same goes for Manfredi) but if not it’s baffling. It’s an ideal game for Smith to get 80 minutes tonight. Salford coming off the back of a big, intense game and us loading up with big forwards. A halfback with a good kicking game could put the likes of Inu in a world of pain, keep having to turn and collect balls but instead he’ll be chipped 25 passes by Tommy and won’t have to break sweat.
