You’ve just stated the ultimate woke heresy. Black and Asian people are NEVER racists in anyway, they are only ever victims that white middle class people with a guilt complex can patronise.
All white people are guilty on the other hand. All of us are endowed with that mystical gift of white privilege, even though most of us are just as poor and powerless as them.
But then we were never enslaved. Yet you look through your family history and most of us won’t have to go back far to find relatives who were enslaved in all but name.
Tied farm labourers, indentured apprentices, mine workers paid in company tokens, you name it they were trapped in poverty and they were all as white as sheets.
Yeah but black people were whipped or hung if they tried to escape. True and unforgivable but there white counterparts were also hung or if they were lucky deported for stealing a loaf of bread to feed their starving families.
It’s all about degrees but in truth your average white person has only really had any sense of freedom and quality of life since the end of the First World War, that’s only a hundred years ago. Sue it’s a privilege of sorts but it’s one we extend to all people living in Britain, if we didn’t people wouldn’t be risking their lives to get across the channel.
So where do we draw the line?
