Do not agree think B D is going ok When he first came he had a 6,7,and 9 that could put him in to space at present he is just been used as a battling ram.Same with Tupou we had a 6 ,7, and 9 who could make a overlap .The passing of the ball as been so slow this season that teams have got time to move across so he is allways coverd.Any good coach would have fixed this

Are you one of those who talks about square pegs in round holes.
I thought that both our recent loan players did well on Friday night.

Jowitt to remain at full back and Walker at stand off; then pegs and holes become singular rather than plural.Of all the things spouted about the current situation the one thing I can't get my head around is the exclusion of Brad Walker. There's something not right here; he showed so much potential at the end of last season I can't understand why he hasn't been given a go thus far this time around.

One big failing that I have seen in our attack is the number of passes that are pitched so that their trajectory line is in the form of an arc or parabola, reaching its highest point somewhere centrally between the passer and the receiver thus taking almost twice the time in flight than a "bullet" type pass. More a "lob" than a pass. This obviously allows the opposition much more time to make the tackle and slows our attack down greatly. It's a fault I tend not to see in the Wigans and Saints of this world.

Eh? What have last seasons finishing positions to do with this season? It's 17 against 17 every week against teams we've beaten on numerous occasions in any given season. Who are we "allowed" to beat then? Why have we got to take into account who we are playing? Total nonsense! We blew it against Leeds and Hull, played poor in the second half against Wigan and St Helens having matched them in the first half. And we've lost twice to Catalans, outmuscled in the cup game and went toe to toe last night. But for a dodgy call by Kendall we'd have probably won the game.
Let's have less of the excuses and more fight in the traditional Wakefield Trinity style. We seem to give up now when we concede a couple of scores. Where is the leadership, the fire in the bellies? I'm seeing plenty of effort and I applaud that but come on, we should be doing a whole lot better than this.

So you're saying all 12 clubs have equal chance of winning the GF at the start of the season?
Wigan and Saints are the same as Wakefield and Leigh?
Do the bookies have them all on even money before the season starts?
Where teams finished last year is a clear indicator of strength. One or two teams may drop in or out, but when was the last time Wigan or Saints weren't in the top 6?
It's not excuses, it's facts. Some teams are better than others and hence more difficult to beat. No-one says we're not 'allowed' to beat them, it's just less likely that's all.
The fact that we have been competitive against these teams means we can be competitive against all teams are are likely to pick up wins against less strong squads as the season progresses.

and they also only won 2/3 against Wakefield, with an aggregate score of 70-54 in Trinity's favour.
Cherry picking basic facts to fit an agenda is easy, but you need to look at the circumstances behind them for context.
A big win at Headingly and 2 narrow defeats, one of them a fairly meaningless fixture on a 3-day turnaround.

Coco there's no mention of a Grand Final in my post is there? My aspirations are to improve every year, try and get into the play offs and have a good cup run. And what do bookies have to do with anything? Wigan finished below us not that long ago in one of the seasons we were 5th. At that time we were making progress beating them regularly home and away. I remember a 62 - 0 and we beat them the season after at Belle Vue too when Keegan Hirst scored a great try under the posts Why is it less likely now that we will beat them (or any side for that matter) when we have a supposed better squad? You surely must agree that we have gone backwards. We cannot score when on top, we leak tries for fun and there is little or no leadership on the field. I already said I applaud the effort and I hope to goodness it gets us some wins soon but we are sinking fast imo and that is upsetting and worrying for a lifelong fan.

We are now one of two clubs still to win this season. The problem is that we have had many years in SL to have put together a competitive well trained squad whilst Leigh had only a few months.

The club and Chester have to face reality in so far if the former want to continue with the latter they must loosen the fiscal purse strings and give him more options on the playing front. If they don’t want to do this then Chester must go because he is singularly unable to get the best out of what we have and it is time to give someone with new ideas.
If both prefer the status quo that I personally see a long hard nervous season ahead once again, with this thread getting Longer and longer and the supporters more frustrated.

With all the coming and goings of the last couple of weeks, could the saga of Andrew Fifita be the crossroads for CC?
