The rule of thumb is to defend your outside shoulder, so the fact the winger scored on Bibby's outside then you could point the finger at him.
The reason he moved inside was to cover the centre because Isa was out of position and re-treating back from marker.
In those 3 on 2 situations, Bibby just has to make the best decision. If he stays outwide, Connor passes the ball to the centre who goes inbetween Isa and Bibby.
