Leeds seem to miss out on quite a few of their local lads early on but have the status and cash to pull them back once someone else has developed them.

Is he? From memory he seems to have been given quite a lot of opportunities Batchelor, although I personally wouldn't have picked a centre ahead of him on the bench I agree, but maybe he has a niggle? Also it did turn out for the best in the end. Don't see this as a thing to knock Chester with personally, there's enough to go at already without manufacturing more....
