So I've left out Dean (tough on him considering he's been recalled), I dont think we would want Thewlis / Austin / Widdop off the pitch.

Gannon, Burgess and Whitehead (some famous surnames there....!) left out, more because I know least about them tbh. Looking forward to the game in a strange sort of way - similar to Salford last year.

Yes good pick, that would be my guess as well

Morgan Burgess was a prop but is now playing BR and I think much better suited to that position, He is an 'overage U19' so I guess this is a bit of a make or break season for him. Tom Whitehead is a good prospect. He was playing HB but now seems to have moved to BR as well. He is a year younger than Burgess and is a clever runner with good hands. It's good to see them both included in the 19 and will hopefully spur them on.
Gannon is playing loose atm and is good footballer that gets through a lot of work but I can't see him displacing Butler/Doro on the bench. From what I have seen of Dean he has done ok at York but has not been outstanding and can can go missing at times.

Surprised Nathan Roebuck isn't included in the squad. He always looked an outstanding young player to me. Wondered if Walter knows if he has an injury or just not selected.

Didn't realise that. Talent wise it's no-brainer for me. If either of our current wings aren't with us next year, Nathan's got everything needed to step up.

That's a big yes from me, i hope Butler gets some decent game time, he needs to be playing more. And i'm looking forward to seeing Robson and Doro

I would like to see Riley Dean get some game time even if just at interchange hooker, he has a lot of potential and this is a good opportunity to let him show it. I'd prefer Longstaff to wrench in the centre based on what they've both shown in their first team appearances so far.

I hope to see what others seem to see in Robson and Doro, I haven't seen anything to make me feel they have a future in the wire first team, but they definitely haven't had enough opportunity to be written off yet.

It’s almost unthinkable that Wrench was preferred to Mamo in round 1 now, given Mamo’s form, but Price must see a player there. I think he will start.

I would also like to see Dean, bench spot maybe. Robson should get the back row spot. Doro may still be on the naughty step, but I would like to see him get some game time. I’m on record for my position re: Sita, and I think a young energetic forward could force their way in-front of him.

If we were in a better position, I would have liked to see all of the youngsters brought in, but we need the points.

I'm looking forward to players down the pecking order coming in, and hopefully stepping up.

It’s an ideal opportunity to play the youngsters and fring player’s without pressure upon Price. He’d be foolish not too. The result is not as important as giving them a break.
