Lam confirmed it in the press conference this morning. I got told yesterday that it’s an issue with a bulging disc and they’re going to rest it for a few weeks and if that doesn’t solve it, then it could be surgery and the end of his season. Let’s hope the rest works.

In all seriousness though. I wouldn't be surprised to see us either recall Hank or try and bump up our plans for Miski.

Didn't another Wigan player have a similar problem Tony Clubb? a few seasons back?

I think he did yes. It was his name that came to my mind when I heard about it. We’re not getting much luck at the moment, with injuries all happening in the same area of the field. I do feel a bit more positive after the Wakey game though. We have it a real crack and if anything, whilst having kids in doesn’t improve our chances of winning games, it will probably mean the fans give a bit more leeway and get behind them.

Gutted about the injury, made up he’s coming back for next year.

Most exciting player since 2010-2013 Sam Tomkins.
