Battling with the external competition is hard / bad enough.
The battle is even harder over here as the game has been torn apart from the inside and is more divided than ever before due to to actions of SL and the inaction from the RFL in the face of it.

When you've got the likes of Wood and Rimmer running things it makes Maurice Lindsay look like a genius. No wonder the game's in a mess.

Sponsors, TV, bookmaking industry. Clubs have to pander to these
