Unluckiest football player ever, was England’s number 9 going into the 66 World Cup but was injured just before and Alf Ramsey stuck with his winning team. God bless and RIP.
Probably priceless, I'm not old enough to have seen him play but my Dad said he was unbelievable and a proper goal scorer and looking at his goal scoring record its hard to argue.

Bit before my time as well, but from what footage I’ve seen he was class. Playing at a time when defenders could tackle you as well, legal or not.
Bravely conquered some demons as well, which is probably an even bigger achievement than anything he did on the pitch.
He was a wonderful footballer, naturally gifted, deadly finisher, great character, and extremely entertaining in his tv series, a true legend, RIP Jimmy Greaves
