I emailed both Wigan warriors and the ticket office and didn't receive a reply from either. I then phoned the ticket office who said it was nothing to do with them even though the emails were addressed from them! So DD day arrived yesterday and they took the wrong amount out of my bank. So I phoned the TO again who said they would refund the difference however they have refunded the wrong amount so I will have to phone again!
Also they have not included auto renewal of my car park ticket even though it was clearly in the confirmation email. The TO said i would have to phone next week and buy one separately when tickets go on sale. So much for the convenience of auto renewal.
I have lost all confidence that WW and the TO know what they are doing. I am seriously considering considering cancelling my season ticket after being a life long supporter (60 years) and season ticket holder for many years. If I cancelled my season ticket I probably wouldn't attend many games as buying tickets has just become too much hassle.
When the auto renewal scheme came out last year i thought maybe spread the payment over 4 payments, contacted the box office no one could tell me what the scheme was about or how many options there were. I ended up just paying in one go. I have done that again even though some of my mates had said they were using the option to defer until Sept to pay.
when I read and hear of the issues that people are having trying to pay for a season ticket I have a lot of sympathy and if I was having issues again I would probably just tell the club to to cancel the ticket. The club need to realise that people are paying hard earned money up front for a product.
