The very last place most of the political establishment want to see Brooks is in a courtroom dock. I wouldn't rule out some "accident" if charges are brought.

They've also arrested a further two people today in relation to the general enquiries EDIT: Turns out the two arrested were under Operation Elevedon after information from NewsCorp's MSC
