Remain campaigners have potentially released something dark. Many examples of people calling to exclude certain groups in society from the democratic process because they have different opinions. Accusations of racism are often used to silence opposing opinions. I do actually have a couple of Polish friends. I don't want to see a total stop to immigration, I just want our country to have the means to control it if it becomes unsustainable. I can't really see a major resurgence of violent far right groups. All we have done is vote to leave an unpopular political union. Some people will be racist whether we are in the EU or not.

I don't know many folk that spout anything more dangerous than pub talk.
There will always be boneheads who will cause bother.

I see nothing more sinister than folk being p/ssed off with unfettered immigration with no corresponding infrastructure improvements.
The anger is against the people who allow this and then call the people who object, racists.

This is a matter of shocking organisation. It is not the fault of immigrants.

Most people ought to be able to see that.

Lots of racist incidents around country and not just against EU migrants. If everybody keeps calm and people don't try to backtrack on result - and these ill-informed youngsters grow up instead of protesting for a re-run - then it will die down in a few days, If though the voice of the previously unrepresented is ignored then I fear that violent English nationalism could be unleashed. Politicians like the LibDem leader trying to gain advantage from this and the Blairites ripping Labour apart are in danger of fuelling this. Calm and intelligence are required not the current hysteria.

I said something similar to an Australian friend, they have to respect this referendum or it will tear this country apart in a very dangerous way, Mr Lammy calling for it to be flat out ignored and those asking for another vote don't realise the very real prospect of wide spread rioting and reprisals.

Now racists attacks unfortunately have never stopped, i have been racially assaulted when i used to date an Indian girl many years ago. I would never dream of racially assaulting, calling, joking about anyone, my ex wife was Polish.
I was threatened with a knife by 4 black guys when i went to garage gig once because i was literally one of 3 white people in the whole gig and yes, I'm white, minorities get it far worse and i wouldn't ever wish it on anyone.
It's a sad state of affairs that it happens all the time. But now since Friday every attack is because of BREXIT and that is just nonsense.
