How dare Unilever have the audacity to put up their prices by ten percent just because the pound has dropped by fifteen percent against the Euro.

Good for Tesco, fighting for the working man, I mean, if these price hikes continue, inflation will rocket & Carney will be putting the interest rate up - I'm outraged!

Who'd have thought it, Brexit & Marmite in the same sentence, oh well, you either love it or hate it I suppose.

I'm still trying to find that British tea plantation though, perhaps the Raj is alive & well, or perhaps it's part of the governments cunning plan, first recover our sovereignty & then regain our territories.

It is not often I side with Tesco but I do here. I hope they stand firm as Unilever will soon play ball. It is a try on and Tesco are calling their bluff. Unilever need Tesco's distribution of their products more than Tesco need their overpriced brands.

Yeah, the U.K. accounts for about 5% of Unilever sales, that's the whole of the U.K. not Tesco.

What will you do when when fuel goes up, or what about that foreign holiday, & God forbid when your new phone cost 20% more than the last one.

The future's bright though, no more immigration, we've got our country back - hooray.

Simple answer - stay in UK like I do and don't use silly mobile phones. Fuel goes up and down come what may. The pound will rise against the EU in the not to distant future and the Eurozone will implode financially.

Why then have Unilever backed down? Economic reality will always trump bulls@@t spouted by Remoaners.
