Thanks to you both for the replies, I'm also considering the Canon power shot SX260. Lower pixels but good sensor and 20x optical zoom extending to 39x. For the money it seems to be good value and sufficient for what I need.

I thought it was a Turnstone but the black head threw me a bit, it has orange legs too if you can't see them.
