Huddersfield & Wakefield chase Bob Beswick for next season. : Sat May 30, 2009 4:42 am  

Both Wakefield and Huddersfield are chasing Bob Beswick are in form Loose forward/Hooker.Yesterday i was reliably informed he is being targeted,i don,t know if BB is on a two year contract or just the 12mths one like many others at the club.The club are in talks with several players and just hope BB is one of them.Over the past 6 games i believe he,s been outstanding and we need to keep players like him.

That leaves David Wrench as our only player for next year. Jesus is a gifted man though and with the help of his Dad - i still expect a top two finish in 2010.

Ha ha! Rumours. Love em. In short, Fax must be doing something right to attract the quality players they have ahead of their rivals. Why would they want to leave, until others catch us up?

Money. Simple as.
If someone offered you a job at twice your current salary you'd sit down at Birch Services for a chat wouldn't you? It would really hack me off to see our best players cherry picked but what can you do? The club can only offer what it can afford. We plundered Leigh many times in the nineties.

totally agree. although the club needs to get the players ited to new contracts as soon as we can this is the squad we need this is the squad we have been waiting for all these years we have been in the championship and we cant let them all leave now.

if these romours were true why is there nothing about it on the wakefeild or huddersfeild board or do our fans know they want beswick before there own fans and club know.

It is all rumours as no club can approach a player under contract this season until monday 1st june. Anything else would be against the rules.

That's why you won't get anything in papers as only halifax can sign halifax players at this moment and so on.
