in todays courier they hope to close the pump room and pull it down within the next year. another good pub to go.

I'm far from a regular drinker there, but I have been there on other occasions than on match days

It's bad enough pubs are going out of business but for a quality pub like the Pump Room to go for non-financial reasons is shocking. Looks like I'm going to have to pretend I'm 15 and drink alcopops round the Town Centre pre-match now rather than have a decent pint.
