I doubt many would leave Halifax unless a SL contract was offered to them. As for Championship clubs we have no idea what the League will be and what clubs can offer as nobody has a clue how many home games etc. As for the various clubs
BARROW are in all sorts of problems and they wont be busting the Cap again and if rumours are true will be shedding players. The average crowd in 2010 was 1717 and now have fallen to 1543 so again not having that much money coming in as previous years may hurt them more than expected. Also players dont want to be trekking up their for training.
LEIGH have money problems and the future is still unclear. They will have lost Ellis and Hill which would free up some cash though. Crowds have improved from last years 2144 to 2397 but even still that has not helped them that much money wise. They may try and go for Penky and think that would be the only place he would leave us for.
FEV Probably spending near the limit and Cockayne wont be cheap. Cant see too many changes happening with the team. Their crowds have dropped from an average 1919 to just 1589 as well meaning a big drop in money coming in. They have already Finn, Kain, Dickins, Grayshon and others for next year
BATLEY & SHEFFIELD maybe could be in the market for new players but there crowd averages are around 1200 mark so not sure that either are spending the full cap
FAX a big drop in gates so far from 2509 to just 2097 but likely a good cup run helped make some money for the club. I would expect some changes with Smith & Larder retiring and hopefully a few released. I do believe Penky will stay with us. He is 30 next year and dont think he will go to SL and doubt he will go elsewhere. I also think the players would rather be at Fax than want to go elsewhere because of the recent history of us getting to a number of finals and we are stable off the field financially. I am not too concerned and know the BOD have done a great job in hard circumstances. I think that will influence people to stay as well.
