Well that was a waste of a trip, I have thought for a while now that realistically this season is a write off as we were never going to get top 3 and you cannot win the play offs from 4th, 5th or especially 6th place.
The GF is a dead cert to be Leigh v Fev.
Lets start again with a clear out and a new coach with HIS team.

At least we should not face Fev in the play offs as surely they will either win the 1st v 2nd game or if not we aint going to get to the second semi final, that may be a blessing in disguise.

Hey ho we have had 3 good years so were probably due a poor one.

Don't be too dis-heartened!!!

Results in both tiers of English rugby league in the last month say everything about our game.

Wakefield nothing to play for lose to welsh. Widnes nothing to play for (keep on losing and have been an AVERAGE championship club but yeah good home support and a top academy). Halifax nothing to play for (average season in comparison to the last few). Castleford something to play for 10-8, week after nothing to play for 56-0.

I think the club need this, it has been coming really as Calland was always on borrowed time for me and lived on a the back of a good squad and now we don't have as good a team and he has gone we can take a step back and start again.
If it is Karl then one thing he will do is UNITE the fans which will be great as its not been good for people like me and there are quite a few of us who doubted our coaches ability and management over the last 3 years.

Questions need to be asked about the conditioner as well when you see the state some players were in and still are, how they are allowed to get that out of shape I dont know when being in a semi professional environment. Complete overhall.

Still got at least 2 games this season, one against a team near the bottom of the league who play on a narrow open pitch and then whoever finishes 3rd Ithink. So away at Batley. neither will be easy games so the lads need to get building up to these and lets get a roll on.
We ARE the champions so lets go out and show it.

Mind you, his players also jumped off bridges.

The seasons not quite over yet and as dissapointing as this years been in places the lads have shown they have the beating of the top teams in them....

If we turn up with the right heads on we can turn any one over.

Come on Halifax fans ....
Let us stop harping on about the dismal performance at York and look to the future and the play-offs. If our key players are fit we can beat any team in our league.
Please get behind the boys and cheer them on.

Come on guys and girls we are not out of it yet and if any team can go all the way from our position its FAX, i'm sure the players are not ready to surrender our crown without a fight, remember beswick's words in the sky interview after the widnes match "we are defending champions and everyone else is going to have to take it off us". Get our injuries back on board and we are a very dangerous side in high pressure games. Lets get behind the boys and make sure if we do go out we go out fighting. COME ON FAX!!
