No sour grapes, but its London away in the next round

Sick of this weather. sick of the same players making the same mistakes and penalties at crucial times.

ANOTHER game we have managed to throw away. Halfbacks who struggle to create or kick a ball in to touch. I cant see us winning any cups with our current halfbacks.We cant control a game and then make stupid basic errors to allow teams back in. We dont deserve to be in the next round to be honest. How poor is it when you cant even kick a ball in to touch? Running around like a headless chicken that both Thackray and Handforth do is not good enough. Bring in Bowman as he cant be any worse as te current 2. So disappointing as we miss out on a potential money earner against Leeds, Wigan etc.

Terrible today, not sure how we managed to keep the score as low as 19! I'm not doubting Handforth's ability, but his desire and work effort has gone out the window lately. And Thackeray, brilliant first half but not I'm not sure he was even on the pitch in the second... As LBC said we need to bring in Bowman, people may have their reservations but the guys creates tries, and we need someone creative at the moment.

Not sure that I agree that we were terrible at all. Lacking in creativity, absolutely, and threw out some awful passes at times, but effort-wise no complaints from me.

bit harsh, Leigh weren't much (if) any better. Fax made far more 'line breaks' than what we did, and at 16-6 ahead, 1st 10 minutes 2nd half looked liked you were gonna score again.
If we'd have lost I would have thought "we were crap", but thanks to a golden point, I'm thinking "who's gonna thrash us in the quarter finals....live on TV" !!!

we were not terrible, some people will allways critise unless we win a cricket score> Played well and would have won if not for that discrace of a ref

I don't think you were that bad. Hard to throw the ball about due to the big cross wind, ball control was amazing in the conditions, i'd love to see both teams completion rates.

I think in the first half we gave way way too many penalties away, and you did the same in the 2nd half.

Looking forward to playing each other again.

One final point, so so sorry about the idiots (4 or 5) in the North Stand, it was the same bunch that were throwing punches at me at Blackpool last year, they will be reported, by me. They only turn up to big games and make a fool of themselves when they do.

Got to agree we have no moves like how many balls hit the deck? I counted 5 at least, when we got a foothold on their line in the last 3 minutes (twice) we never looked like scoring, we have no variation in our play and yes I point the finger at the half backs its their job.
We aint as good as we think we are and our coach and players need to accept this and dig in, get some moves going and come back more focused, we seem to rely on 'smashing them' which aint working.
Leigh taught us how to use the ball again today, they always looked more dangerous near our line and put some clever kicks in.
Karl is a forward and maybe he needs an assistant to work with the backs?
