Then try the No4. Cracking pint of IPA in there. But if it's the town centre you're after, then good ale isn't easy to find.
Just slightly off the beaten track and there's some right gems in B'pool but they will take you away from the main action in town which would be just fine for me but not I would imagine, for the rest of the brethren.
See, the three pigeons is my type of boozer not some "monty's come on look at the girlies bar", "mucky O'flaherty's oyrish pub with everything imported from china" OR "funny fellas swing ya thing bar" that maybe be fun but charge a fortune for crapola beer that you have to queue 5 deep at the bar and shout over the top of ear splitting 'music' (and I use the term 'music' generously) for a pint of something I wouldn't wash the floor with!
