Just got back, what a good do, very profesional (apart from the mike packing up). Looks like a BIG squad for next season. Pete Emmet was superb and I think we all owe a lot to the Directors, the staff and the unpaid workers who are clearly working to improve our club.
I am convinced Halifax RLFC are on the way forward.

Very lucky to have a good board who do so much that often goes unnoticed. Its a credit to them that the club is going forward with things like the academy while SL clubs struggle to operate such things. Sure there are things that can be improved but without these great people we would not be where we are.

In that case, they need to get down & watch the reserves 'cos this lad absolutely smashed it last season playing at prop. Not the tallest but he's got some size & strength and can whack a bit, IIRC he scored a few tries as well in the games i watched. As with Iain Davies, I don't think they'll get much gametime, but it's a massive step up in standard to first grade but I have faith, if a coach of Karl's experience at front row can't help him i don't know who can !!!
I believe his last amateur/junior club was West Bowling or somewhere over the dark side so it'd be nice to get one over on that shower.

This the lad who Karl said he had training with the first team toward the end of last season and was "smashing them about a bit"

looking at the pictures on the fax website you can see who got numbers 1 to 15
