Featherstone Rovers are gearing up for their third pre-season warm up game of the season against Halifax RLFC on Sunday (kick off 3PM). The fixture promises to be an intense challenge for both sides who undoubtedly will want to put down an early marker for the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship campaign. Featherstone Rovers are providing hospitality for the game in the 1921 Suite and would like to extend the invitation for Halifax RLFC supporters and commercial partners.

Gates open at 1PM and for just £20 per adult (£15 concessions and £10 juniors), includes entrance to the game and you can enjoy a one course meal of hot beef sandwiches, chips/ roast potatoes and gravy served at 2pm in the 1921 Suite. There will also be pre-match interviews with key individuals as well as post-match interviews. Guests will have the option to watch the game from the 1921 Suite which overlooks the pitch watch from the stands. There is no minimum party size and full tables of 8 or 10 are available.

For more information or to book your places please contact Featherstone Rovers Commercial Manager Paul Taylor on 01977 702386 or email paul.taylor@featherstonerovers.net

Thanks for posting that, it really is a bargain, unfortunately my group won't be able to take advantage of the offer as we are pushing it to get there for kickoff time, EDT from Halifax 14.00 hours, ETA Post Office Road, 14.59.
Looking forward to it.

It is a job which I have undertaken for many years.
I take great pride in diligence when chips, pies or burgers need to be tested.
I have tested food in every ground in SL, Championship 1 and 2 and quite a few amatuer grounds. Mind you Toulouse, was perhaps the best, no chips, no pies, no burgers, but the sausages? Mrs Halifaxjohns eyes watered.
Last Sunday at Batley, as I have said on another topic I was a little upset when asked whether I wanted small or large portion? small portion? are you calling me a p**f
The chips were so great, I added brown source, mint source, red source and mustard, result? bloody awful, but at least no one stole a chip.
Finished them in a world record 3 minutes.
Hang on a minute, Not Catalan or Wrexham, will rectify one this year and the other in 2015.
Avou vey un chips, mon amee. Well that's Wrexham sorted this year, how do I order in Perpignan? in 2015.

I'm afraid the Wrexham & Catalonia combo would entail a challenge cup run of some effort Johnnyboy, just you hope & pray that someone warms their little balls up and places them in the velvet bag for some other bloke to caress, stroke and extract for you.....

Sunday 10th August 2014, North Wales Crusaders at Wrexham.
Chips and Welsh Rarebit, yum yum.

Travelodge booked, £21 for the room.

Now, bring on Catalan's.
