I see it that it was a tackle that you will see in any game at any level. It was a tackle that saw the tackles player sadly put his head in a dangerous position that was made worse with thre players landing on him. It wasnt a spear tackle or even close to such. The NRL have for me scapegoated Jorden Mclean, just to cover themselves before the media. It was a freak accident where sadly a player got injured. Had he not got injured, then this would not even be before the disciplinary panel. The Media- many of whom played the game and done far worse tackles are ready to judge the game and happy to finger point. Instead of just accepting this as a freak accident where the tackled player put his head in a dangerous position we now have a Kangeroo Court. I cant see where the 7 match ban comes from only to satisfy critics ( The media mostly) of the game. I wish Alex all the best and am sure the game will do that to its best ability. But also maybe the NRL needs to look at banning lifting in the tackle or maybe number of defenders in a tackle or something
