FAO Hudds-Shay : Tue Sep 16, 2014 10:37 am
Sorry, phone issues so will answer here.Others on here may wish to correct me or elaborate.I would put the fax following at Fev at around 350 it is hard to judge with no segregation and not everyone wearing colours. The overall attendance of 1400 was dire.
The repeated chants of w@nky Halifax from the Fev numpties are unlikely to entice the 200 or so fax fans back who boycott POR for obvious reasons.
As for game 2 poor sides for 55 mins could have gone either way, once fev took the lead
they were far too good for us.Gamebreaking moment for me was on halftime we throw a stupid pass from dummyhalf(not the only one we did, don't know which hooker was responsible)fev scored to make it 12-16 when at 6-16 we may have been able to defend it.

Probably a bit harsh with the 2 poor sides comment. I thought it were a good game until our mistakes caught up with us between 2 of the top teams in the division. Its still painfully obvious the areas we are lacking though and we are still reaping the 'rewards' for Harrisons recruitment.

And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

The weekend starts on a Monday.

I see no reason to boycott Fev away, most are a good crowd.
I do find the chant rather offensive and can not understand why an announcement is not made when it starts. After all announcements are made before every game about this sort of behaviour. Perhaps Fev do it as a bit of a joke like those flat hats, after all every time we walked into a bar in Blackpool last time we met we were treated to the same chant.
On the other hand perhaps we are too touchy.
I do think it's ironic that the chants come from the " Community Club Stand" though.

Do agree it was entertaining for an hour. Each time i got excited when Fev coughed up possession,we seemed to do the same next six.Hard on sunday's evidence to see how we could turn it round if given another opportunity.

Yeah I agree. It frustrates the hell out of me than Fev have lost to some really poor teams and have this habit where they can slip up after looking so good one week but yet we simply do not seem to have the answers to beat them.

Sorry but never in a month of Sundays were there 350 of you, lucky if there was 200, as for the 1400 crowd what do you expect from a shared gate, remember the 2500 at the shay in 2009. As for the wanky fax chant come on man for gods sake they were teenagers singing that at you who the hells gona be intimidated by that. Agree with the 2 poor sides bit

Not sure what anti-aging cream they use in Fev but some of those teenagers looked about 50.

FAILURE ISN'T ABOUT FALLING DOWN, FAILURE IS STAYING DOWN..........

Re: FAO Hudds-Shay : Tue Sep 16, 2014 5:13 pm
I don't know about "turning sunday's result around" - FFS we haven't beaten Leigh or Fev this season, get a grip, we aren't good enough.

I heard a story & i trust my source ( s ) that when they beat us at the Shay in the quarter of a million pound game, they were on a grand a man, cheques written & collectable from the paymaster on delivering the result. We got SHALLACKED !!!! on home turf, just like we did against Leigh....

When Fev won at Keighley in the FACEBOOK termed "£450K PARTY" a similar, yet very much trusted source informs me that their matchday players were on over £3K for the result that day. If these snippets of info are remotely correct, we aint ever gonna compete until mr Lottery winner rocks up feeling generous with naff all else to do on a wet summer's sunday afternoon.

Enjoy your rugby folks, i used to do....

I agree with your point about the crowd, no where near 350 Faxfans which I find very disappointing.
Any one who won't go again because of the chanting hasn't been there before.
BUT, I have said, I find the chanting unnecessary, and to say they are teenagers is a bit silly, if they were why were they allowed in every pub in Blackpool last time we met there.
I think a lot of this " I won't go to Fev because of past problems" should read " I won't go to Fev because we nearly always lose"
Try turning up Faxfans, it might encourage our team.
