Sorry can't agree with the comments about Manning. He played 80 mins. And even though he was clearly blowing at the end he still made metres and kept his place in defence. Earlier in the game he kept hunting down their half's and did a great job in keeping them quiet. In the 2nd half the injury to Saxton changed things, which meant he couldn't play the same in defence. Hence their scrum half was more of a hand full. Any one in doubt about his contribution just read R M coments in the courier.
