Ok mr dig gory let's take my error of tense , and I apologise to all for my mistake, (and me an English tutor) , but surely yours is a greater mistake than mine, you can t help being a lobby gobbler, but you could see the light and follow the blue and white.

It' s not as though your not always on our forum.

To be fair Ian was at the Shay last year following the blue and whites, however it was the Navy Blue followers he was with even if it did say Leigh on his chest (but we're working on it)

I will do my best FIA ,I intend watching a few Fax games this season, as the Mighty Leythers have a fair few Sundays without a game,everyone knows I love the Yorkies, I was made an Honorary Flat Capper a couple seasons ago.

Good to hear from you again Dave well the time is getting nearer,I will be at the Shay for the Fax V Fev game along with Frank and Wolrab, I have tipped Fev as my Dark Horses this coming season, I'm impressed with your Squad,this first game should be a cracker, and I wouldn't miss the Blackpool week end for anything, hope both John and yourself are well?See you soon.

Fax went down 30-0 to Widnes Vikings at the weekend, although they only trailed 4-0 at half-time before handing some of the club’s reserve grade players experience in the second-half. Despite losing their first two pre-season fixtures, Marshall is pleased with his side’s progress.
“I’m confident that our one to 17 is as good as anything in this competition on its day.
“We just need to get our squad members up to speed and give our younger players some more experience. I’m really pleased with how we’ve gone. Last year was tough mentally and physically, but the bounceback has been brilliant. We’ll set some short-term expectations this year and build on them. We won’t look at the bigger picture, that will take care of itself.
“Our players have lost money in terms of contracts, but there are more incentives than just money, that’s what we’ve been talking about.”
