Love the Joe West song, made me chuckle!

We never seem to have any "lengthy" songs though, which is a shame, even when the word sheets were handed out at Wigan away a few years back IIRC.
The Michael Wainwright one is the one with the that I think is pretty funny, but none of the others seem to last that long other than the odd shout of come on you fords! I thought the Hull KR fans showed what good a longer song like Red Red Robin sounded last week. It would be nice to have a club song.

George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

We're enlisting, overseas names
Need assisting, help with the game
Get the expert, at running the ball
And defending, offloading n'all

If we can only keep hold of him
Then we could capture our own Super League trophy

Sargent Mitch is going to help me...

I think bringing a few new chants onto the terraces could easily be helped out by the club website/programme.

I said on t'other forum that if you held a competition on castigers.com (or wherever) similar to how they've done the shirt poll, with people sending in some suggestions and then them publishing some of them then people would see them, and some of them might take off, but you could have an overall favourite which wins a signed ball or something.

If it's on the official site, they'd only be able to publish the family friendly ones too, which might encourage some of the other fans to join in.

Still disappointing that our club song is "We all hate Leeds", it's become embarrassing. It's about time we had a proper, lengthy club song to sing at the start and end of games.

How about "We are Cas, we are Cas, we are Cas, Pump my ass, pump my ass, pump my AARRRSSSSE." We could sing it untill all the opposition fans become unerved and leave. Then we could just revert to "We all hate Leeds." Then there is no reason to be embarrassed, as there would be no opposition fans to hear us singing it! How good am I? :D
