Looks like a good design. Great that the architects have included standing along the side.

Agree with that, once in the ground thats where you have to stay for the full game.

Sounds like the standing area will be down one touch line, this should be for the WREnders.
The seating area behind the post at one side should be for the away fans.

Away fans should have the option to stand as well. Segregating supporters by only allowing them into the seating area isn't the answer.
I applaud Cas for having a standing area though,it provides a much better atmosphere in my opinion.

Many people at Cas have wanted the vocal fans to stand along the touchline. Many times we have tried and failed to convert those who stand behind the sticks and those that change ends. By sticking the standing section along the touchline and making it for home fans only, we can try to have the same impact by fans on games that teams such as Leeds and Hull KR do.

Still don't agree that only home fans should be allowed to stand, that is segregation and it's not what our sport should be about.
I'm not sure but I don't think clubs have the power to make fans sit in seated areas so you could find away fans standing where seats are anyway.
The reason I raise this is because i've been to the Keepmoat and Bramall Lane to watch rugby matches and have been told by stewards that I was allowed to stand and when the home supporters complained because I was blocking their view from the bar the steward said I was entitled to stand (but not if it was a football match)

As far as i know there is going to be an away end.
I take it will be behind the sticks which as far as i know both ends will be seating.

I don't think there's been anything official Phil, it's only what we predicted and what we are concluding from the drawings. Cas have always welcomed away fans into where ever they want to go at WR and it wouldn't surprise me if they kept it the same in the new ground. I would feel though that a massive chunk of that standing section would be taken up by a large chunk of Cas fans. There are many grounds who don't force any segregation but there are still some pretty clear areas where home and away fans gather.

George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

I wonder if you have to wear clothes in the new stadium?

Not seen anything anywhere to suggest you have to wear them mate. Have you thought about mailing RW and asking?

I recon RW would be too up for it, he would probably ask if he could stand with me. :D
