Name and Shame Weekend : Fri Aug 21, 2009 8:31 am
How many of you are prepared to name and shame at the game on sunday. these idiots must be identified to the club and banned form following our team.

i am sick to death of seeing middle aged men barely able to walk abusing fellow supporters and causing trouble in the stands each week and in the end we will be the one punnished when we have no club to follow in SL.

i would suggest you take photos on your phones at the game sunday if possible and post them on here or even feel free to put the names of these people on here and we will send them to the club.

i would guess a fair percentage could be found in the Boot Room before the match sunday evening.

here's to hoping sunday's game goes ahead without incident!!

THE CO-OPERATIVE CHAMPIONSHIP NEEDS A STRONG WIGAN

It's up to the club to get to grips with such occurrences.

Sticking a camera phone in a persons face or posting their name on a website could lead to somebody getting a good hiding however good their intentions may be.

I suspect if the CCTV Cameras are pointed to small section of the WRE, you'll see the offenders........

Alternatively check who comes into the ground with a few minutes to kick-off straight from the Boot Room.....

Rather harsh discriminating against the Boot Room solely don't you think?

I've been in the Boot Room numerous times, had a few drinks and gone over to the ground. But I have never caused any trouble

Taking photos of people on camera phones is completely the wrong way to go about it IMO. If these trouble causers see someone taking their photo, they're probably not going to be very happy about it and you put yourself at risk.

This new CCTV system is going to be running this weekend for the first time I believe. How about we let the CCTV operators and stewards do their jobs and see how the new system goes?

There do seem to be some strong anti boot room sentiments on here, but never any mention of the the ones that come from the bath and cause trouble. for that matter some of the biggest trouble makers dont drink in either.

As they say: All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.....

So if you see something and you think you are doing your job by hoping someone else to report it you are kidding yourself.
How you act is between you and your own morals, I am neither big, hard or brave, but I could not allow racism or abuse to be prevalent, I don't want my son to be in a world like that. But that is my personal view.

An embarrassing imbecile is an embarrassing imbecile wherever they drink or of they haven't had a drink.

I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

Kumquat.

Eloquently put, my sentiments exactly and worth remembering that it's not only at Cas that this 'problem' is creeping in.
