I think he's replaceable and more emphasis will now go on teamwork, rather than get the ball to Beckford ASAP as we seemed to be playing in the playoffs. Any chance Billy Sharp could be tempted back to league 1?

Beckford will be a loss but is one of the reasons why we're still down here IMO, totally went missing in the play-off games (both this year and last year) and had to be Mr Big and take the penalty despite him being shocking in the match and generally shocking at penalties. He's scored a lot and no one can take that away from him but his attitude is awful and he does miss an awful lot of chances too. Average Championship player at best atm.

That would be a great signing imo,sheff utd have to balance the books and he seems to have fallen out of favour.
I think signing sharp and ricky lambert would be great buisness because dickinson has gone now(thank f#*k!) and i don't think kandol will come back so at least 2 strikers are needed imo.
Along with a keeper,centre half,midfield enforcer and a right back!

Tbh I think we could get a decent replacement in but think it would have been a 1 off season for Beckford anyway. He'll never hit 34 goals again in a season even if he stayed at Leeds. Even if we get a striker in who can hit 20 goals all season I'll be happy!

Think Becchio has had a big say in how many goals Beckford has scored too. You really think he'd have scored 34 goals had Kandol been there all season?

Teletext says crystal palace are putting danny butterfield on the transfer list,i wouldn't mind him he'd be great signing at this level and the next imo!!
