Have a look at the records of clubs where he's been an assistant coach - under Noble at Bradford, under Smith at Warrington and under McDermott at Leeds. Not too shabby.

Alternatively, the success of all those clubs was despite rather than because of Lowes.
Certainly both Warrington & the Rhinos have prospered since his departure, the Rhinos especially.
