The only negativity i've seen around this story has been a few posts by some attention seeking old men on an internet forum. Elsewhere, the reaction to how Leeds & Evil Gary have handled this have been pretty positive and hopefully sent a message out to one or two players down under who might be thinking of coming to play in SL soon.

Its not a great outcome - a class player is no longer playing in our competition which is worse because of it

Well that was not of Leeds' doing.
It's a better outcome than some on here were predicting I believe.
But I'm not going to waste my time digging up posts from people on here to prove or disprove it.

I back the Clubs stance in all this & they are happy enough with the outcome case closed imo.

If he took his bat & ball home how is that a "loss" of any kind?
Ateotd he wanted out so technically he was never "SL's" to lose we move on.

But he wasn't coming back anyway.

The great result line is obviously about Leeds' stance AFTER that.

And we seem to have signed a replacement that looks just as good so has the competition really lost out?

Half a brain would tell you looking at his replacement, we have a quality player that the competition/ Leeds require.
