kilkenny good go for me,too lightweight. great with the ball at his feet but a liability when we defend

Kilkenny and Howson are very similar, we only need one of them in centre midfield so that Delph can go back in and Robinson can go on the wing. Only thing is if we let him go and then Howson or Delph get injured we'd have the likes of Prutton or Hughes or somebody playing and there not good enough IMO. Worth keeping unless we sign someone better but i cant see us signing anyone better unless they're out of contract

IMO Kilkenny added alot to the side when he came back in under Grayson. In teh Macca era I would have agreed 100% with tad, but I think he's worth keeping, if he's willing to stay that is. IMO a better player than Howson.

Prutton has left the club now mate. His contract expired end of the season and looks like it won't be getting renewed. Given the choice of playing either Kilkenny or Howson in the centre I would pick Kilkenny. Think he has improved alot since Grayson came in and I've never been a big fan of Howson anyway!

Where does it say Prutton has left the club? On the LUFC site and YEP recently it said the only players OOC were Dave Lucas, Jonathan Douglas and Frazer Richardson and it's only Richardson that was in talks about a new contract. I hope Prutton has left because he's not good enough IMO but i dont think he has.

Prutton hasn't gone anywhere he has a contract for next season, doesn't mean we aren't trying to get rid of him though.

I thought Prutton was one of the 4 out of contract?

There was only 3 OOC.

I cant see Prutton getting much game time this season unless we sell Kilkenny or we get a few injuries as he's not good enough. Grayson might aswell try and get rid cos he hasn't featured much since he came in but if he's got a contract he might not want to leave. I hope the midfield next season is Robbo, Delph, Killa, Snoddy with Howson, Hughes on the bench but we could really do with a ball winner in midfield as non of them are ball winners but i cant see us buying anyone unless the likes of Prutton, Showunmi, Michalik, Kandol leave and lower the wage bill cos we've got a big squad and alot that dont feature in the managers plans.

i rate Prutton above Hughes, My mate watched him for years at Norwich and said he was rubbish and i've never seen any quility from him.
