This should be how it is regardless of who is actually wearing the armband. We need a group of players who have the attributes of a captain.

Something that has been missing in the last couple of years.

To be honest I wasn’t really referring to his mental heath problems, I meant that would be the case for any player who’d had the run of injuries and lack of time he’s had on the field.

I’ve got a feeling it will be Martin, seems to be the most prominent on the marketing material theyre using, my choice would be Ward but it might not be a bad thing to let him concentrate on playing without the responsibility after the injuries hes had, same with Gale

They may start with several as Capt so as to form a leaders group and then settle for a regular Capt
