I don't belive Liverpoool would bid

1. They have Alonso, Javier Masc, Lucas and Damien Plassisis
2. Out of all the Premier League clubs only Liverpool and 1 other team never even scouted him last season.

Well thats what was believed on SSN yesterday when they mentioned that Villa bidded.

Mascherano and Alonso maybe on there way out? so they may have been preparing for their departures
