Richardson was arguably the weakest link in the team and was then made captain. Probably the worst mistake Macca did and only gave it to him because he's our longest serving player. Think Macca was just too nice and he didn't have the balls to drop him as captain never mind drop him from the team. Also Sheehan getting injured and Dickinson doing a cracking job helped alot and Ben Parker has been improving game after game after getting a run in the team.
Kilkenny and Douglas just wasn't working in the midfield when they were playing together and Kilkenny has really come into his own since Dougie switched to right back. Quite a masterstroke as I thought Dougie would just be as poor as Frazer in that position.
Not sure about Hughes though, he's an every position man but does anyone know what his best or favoured position is cos I don't know. He's just been given a 1 year extension so he must be in Graysons plans somewhere but he's more of an impact player coming off the bench then a player who would get in the first 11 every week
