Lui is a much better standard than what we have now but is not of the required standard to get us back to grand finals.

This is one of three things for me;
Not true
Short term signing as it's all that was available and us better than what we have
The management have lost the plot

Jesus cant believe the negativity of some. Hes a million miles better than sutcliffe at standoff. A million miles better. Hes a huge improvement on what we have. Also Lui might be best we can get at the moment and imo he'll be a huge help to us staying up. Hes been excellent for Salford.

We need a really good 7 as well no doubt about it but that might have to come next year.

Anyways lets see.. but if it is Lui I'm happy with that. Id love hastings to come but it might be next year or he might not be fully committed so Leeds have said 'no thank you'. The club cant do anymore than that at the moment

Thing is if Hastings doesn’t want to come who else is available?

I don't disagree.

Just a real one from left field this. He's a bit too maverick for me which isn't ideally what we want but beggers can't be choosers.

Thing is, if it's maverick your looking for we could just have played Dwyer at 7 and then given McClelland a run as he has a better kicking game.

I'm really not sure about the Lui signing

And to be fair they will have watched a lot more of him than me.

Just strikes me as a stop gap signing. Happy to be proved wrong though.

I thought he was older than 29, i watched him at the West Tigers when he first broke through and was outstanding then didn’t he get in trouble with the law for some reason
