There's far too much crap about secrecy and 'dark arts', and he's certainly not The Donald (sorry, POTUS 45) when it comes to spin and post-truth invention. When it comes down to it how many sides would swap their results for our success since '96?

We know GH will f*ck up, as will McD, as will the players. It's an art, not a science, but should we not presume they're not doing what they think is best for the club. People's opinions are very valid, but it's easy to be a back seat driver.

When you have a blatant modus operandi to always take the opposite view, to cajole and rile up people over petty, agenda driven arguments you'll forgive me if I don't subscribe to your frankly bent moral compass.

I don't think William will ever forgive Gary for stealing Kath off him when they were younger.

That was definitely an "inevitable" response 8)

Back on topic, is it fair to say the the Buderus/Newcastle Knight's link may be finally bearing fruit?
From the Love RL web-site today:
The new Buderus
Tyler Randell is firming more and more as the liekly replacement for James Segeyaro at Leeds. Newcastle are shopping Randell around, we have been told, and the Rhinos need a hooker badly after Segeyaro left them in the lurch. Randell is only 24 and has played in the NRL for the past three years. A Hunter region junior, Randell can also play in the halves and back-row. We understand the Knights aren't interested in Segeyaro, so there's no chance of a swap deal.

PS I note that WE has not rebutted my earlier post about the Wolves/Sandow situation compared to ours with Segeyaro.

A website to be taken with a pinch of Maldon IMO.

I've seen no evidence of Warrington wanting rid of Sandow so I didn't bother responding. It's your claim, therefore it's up to you to provide the evidence for your assertion.

I suggest you read Smith's comments properly then.

Warrington's focus has been on the positive contributions Sandow made at the club whilst understanding the personal challenges and reasons why he's not returning to the club. They've been proactive and moved on.

Leeds focus has been spiteful, with little acknowledgement since of the positive contributions Segeyaro made at the club last season. There's been little attempt at reaching an understanding. The club have been reactive, they've not yet moved on and are threatening legal action instead.

Sorry Dude but you are wrong on this assumption about Warringtons focus on Sandow being only positive.

Quote from BBC Sports website 23-11-2016
" Australian half-back Chris Sandow's exit from Warrington was not a shock, says Wolves head coach Tony Smith.

The 27-year-old did not report for pre-season training on Monday and his agent told the club he would not see out the final year of his contract....
"The timing of it wasn't great, but Chris is erratic like he is on the field," Smith said.

"I wasn't overly shocked. The timing and the method of informing us was poor, but aside from that there were no grand shocks."

Warrington have retained the player's registration if he wishes to join an NRL club. HENCE THEY CAN STOP HIM PLAYING OR DEMAND A FEE... ( Same as Leeds with Segeyaro ).

Sky Sports Website 21-11-2016
Karl Fitzpatrick, Head of Rugby Operations, said: "Chris is contracted until the end of 2017 and should have reported for pre-season training today (21 November).

"This is a clear breach of contract. We will be retaining his registration until further notice.

Total Rugby League 21-11-2016
“He was OK for most of it, and at sometimes he was a pain in the proverbial. He was a fair mix, he was certainly a character, as everyone had worked out.

“He brightened us up at different stages and was exciting to watch for a while, but he became a bit unreliable.

The two clubs have very similar reactions to these players walking out, the big difference is Segeyaro just signed a new two year contract and was looking to move to an NRL club for more money, nothing to do with homesickness.

Leeds have understood very clearly why Segeyro has failed to return and are just following through their legal right, we are also moving on with looking at other options, but I am sure they can multi task by enforcing a contract and also looking to hopefully recruit a replacement.
