Some big wages at Warrington so they’ll be close to cap. Widdop & Austin still marquee next season and Inglis on 250k is near 900k gone already. They’ll struggle to give him how much he will want. SMTM his agent too and working well with Leeds at minute.

See no point in not keeping Ward and replacing him with Currie. Great player but always injured. We dont want that.

Warrington have apparently offered him a new deal on less money. Saints have offered him more but his preference is to go to Wigan. Doubt he will end up here and to be honest I wouldn’t be bothered if he didn’t come. I reckon we’ve only been linked by the journo as one of the two interested SL clubs given the rumour that we are losing Ward to Toronto so they are ‘putting two & two together’

If he goes to Wigan I would imagine Greenwood would come to us.
For me the priority has to be an experienced prop before our younger stars of the future come through in the next year or so.

He's had two big injuries but i wouldnt say hes always injured.160 appearances in all.Played alot of games last season and this one.I dont want to lose Ward and i wouldnt be against signing Currie and keeping Ward although i doubt this would be the case if Ward decides to stay.

Curries a better player than Greenwood, but suspect we'll end up with the latter. Think Greenwood has loads of potential still, and would like to see him in Blue and Amber

Kevin Proctor, John Asiata and Corey Jensen have been made available to Super League clubs. Cuthbertson has been a great servant to the club, but I think it would be a mistake to give him a new deal when quality NRL replacements are available.

Always liked John Asiata when he's played for Cowboys if he's been made available if we can afford and want to go in for players next season i hope we go for him. He can play prop and second row but has a very good skill set and has played in the halves for them as well. He's only 27 and would be the ideal player to replace Cuthbertson, Cuthbo has been a great servant to us over the years but offering him a new deal wouldn't be wise for club imo he'll be 36 and taking up an overseas spot that could be used elsewhere.
