I wouldn’t be surprised if Cuthbertson leaves the club, opening a full quota spot, that will he then leave us with two once martins passport is all sorted. It’s very likely that Jai Field will take up one of them spots as he’s been rumoured for a year.

I think Myler, Ward, Cuthbertson, Albert and Evans will leave at the end of the season.

Wouldn’t mind Field, Greenwood and J Burgess coming in, Currie sounds like it’s unlikely. Would also like Whitley as he’s rumoured to be coming back to UK from Catalans

I can also see Cuthbertson, Ward, Myler, Evans and Albert not being retained possibly T.Briscoe as well and can definitely see Jai Field coming in next year especially with Paramatta signing Rankin as their back up utility for rest of this season and next as well. Can see us going for Greenwood again to replace Ward and maybe a winger if T.Briscoe is not offered a new contract still think we need a prop though to cover us especially if Cuthbo retires or moves on because don't want to burn out young forwards like Oldezki and Holroyd all season is there anyway we can find an update of how Crosby is doing with his rehab i personally can see him being released from final year of contract if he's still struggling with injuries.

I think that is harsh on Cuthbo who had started the season well.

I agree that all things being equal this is the time to thank him for his excellent service but it depends who else is available and at what cost. If we needed another year from him because Crosby still isn't fit and we don't want to flog oledzki, holroyd etc.. then so be it.

Is Cuthbo on the quota anyway? I thought he had a dad born in Warrington so didnt count. Am i wrong?

Don’t forget the financial effects of Covid-19 on the club and the fact SL clubs are getting £280k less from SKY next season. All this is going to effect plans for the playing squad for next season at least. I think anyone out of contract who can/has managed to get a good/better offer from elsewhere will be informed/advised to take it and any of those who are wanting to stay/haven’t got an offer on the table from elsewhere (as let’s face it most/all clubs are going to be in the financial poop poop because of this) will be retained but probably asked to agree to lesser terms?

Ive watched a hell of alot of games from the NRL this season and I cannot understand how some on here are saying it is inferior to SL.
For me it is far better and makes SL look like the Championship without the excitement.
They play faster, run harder and certainly tackle with some umph about them.
Maybe I'm missing something in SL but for me its nowhere near as good as the NRL.

He is a quota player100% otherwise right now we’d have 1 1/2 quota spots.

He has been a great servent but he will 36 next season and is he taking up a valuable overseas place.

It's only valuable if we have someone better to take the spot.

As I say, ideally it would be time to part ways but these are uncertain times and if because of that he stayed another year I would be ok with that.
