Peteru is probably the weakest wildebeest in the herd. He’s been very unlucky with injuries but I was a bit confused when they signed him.

Honestly we could change Peteru and Cuthbo and it could improve the side.

If they saw out their contracts it’s not the end of the world but I could see one or both ending up at a HKR or Wakefield maybe.

I'm more of an advocate for peteru, I think he has shown glimpses and then been hit by an injury and it's back to square one. Unfortunately, the position Leeds are in they don't have the option to carry anyone like that until they do come good so he is the natural choice if they do need to free up some kind of quote type spot.

Bit of a shame but the club need to be ruthless at the moment.

Peteru has been no where near as bad as people make out. He actually deserves some credit. Was very good for us first part of season.

That said, needs are needs, and we need changes. Quota restrictions mean we have to make tough choices.

I like Peteru but we need a different position/type of player, and possibly better quality for an overseas spot holder too.

For me we’ve been too lightweight in the front row for too long and Peteru is another one who is something between front and back row, and he doesn’t really play his size.

I wouldn’t be gutted if he stayed but it does depend on what our other options are at 7, 8, 9 or an outside back.

Rumours also that Darius Boyd could be on the way out. He'd be a great signing for any team, even at his age. He's being made the scapegoat for Brisbane's very average season.

He is one of the reasons the Broncos have been so bad, he’s garbage and always has been massively overrated, his defence is none existent, if anything he’s a full back and we don’t need one! I wouldn’t touch him for cheap!
