Been to the members meeting tonight and the club confirmed Tom Briscoe will be celebrating his testimonial next season. Likely that we will be playing Hull FC in his testimonial match

Final payday? He’s been a good player for us, the 5 tries in the CC Final versus HKR will take some beating.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

He's been a great servant too Club T.Briscoe deserves a testimonial. He's definitely a marmite player I think some people love him some not so much for me he had come up with absolute criminal errors in his Leeds Career then knock on against catalans in 2014 plays offs was one I thought I'd never forgive him for. However he's come up with big plays in big games 5 tries I'm 2015 CC final don't think we'll see that out done anytime soon, 2 tries in 2017 GF as well. 2022 will probably be he's last year with us I'd imagine he'll be 32 he could probably get another gig at a lower end SL club but could see him going part time with his brother at Fev or somewhere he seems too have his life sorted after RL with his sports performance course at Uni I believe

I think Tom's done a decent job for us over the years, 5 trys in the CC final an obvious highlight. Still don't think we got the same player he was for Hull tho, maybe injuries took their toll. There was that season he couldnt really his his arms to catch high balls.

The f!ckwit fringe for some reason don't understand all that he has brought to the team over his time at the club. He's been a great, reliable player who has been a first choice pick throughout his time at the club and this is a well deserved reward.

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

it's deserved and prob covers a reduction in contract , but he also deserved to be moved on since 2017 hardly a prolific scorer and unreliable in defence
