Something that maybe could be modded into 2015 but would be more applicable to a 2016 version if one is made:

As things stand, the actual game engine and simulation side of the game is really well made and a good solid 7/10-7.5/10, so unless there's tweaks to it Alternative Software have in mind then that part of the game should be good to go for future versions of the game. There's not much feedback to give in that regard apart from well done.

So this will probably a bit more meaningful/helpful to the devs: It's the menu screens and the sound effects that could do with some work. Would it be possible to have a more Football Manager style simplistic and elegant skin? Having the sound effects on mouse clicks/background music and the voice being turned off as a default would be nice too. Just overall a "cleaner" look? More modern resolution support too for people on 1920x1080 monitors and the few of us using 2560x1440 if possible would be nice.

Purely cosmetic changes because the actual meat & potatoes of the game is more than solid.

It has its own quirky style with the UI, but I agree that a more streamlined and user-friendly version would be nice. Something along the lines of Football manager's style would be ideal. Fleshing-out the transfer process too would make things more interesting as well.

One fix which would be handy is re: the editor.

I used the editor to create my local amateur side, which I planned to take from the NCL 3 all the way to the top. I basically changed the name of Heworth and quite a few of the player names, and then played a happy two seasons of getting promoted. After exiting the game for a while, I went back to it, loaded up my last save, and found the club was renamed Heworth again. All the player names remained as I'd left them, as did the manager, financial situation and everything else. The only thing which seemed to have changed back, was the club name.

I can't find a way to edit existing games - the editor only seems to be able to edit clubs/players before you start a game. If I'm wrong about that, let me know how to edit a saved game to change the name every time I log in, and I'll happily do that until a fix is forthcoming !

We have fixed this issue
Although you may have to start again if you want your edited name, as the old name will now be locked in the save game.

But please try this :

- Open the game.
- Load the Editor Save that changes the club name.
- Now load your normal saved game.
- This should retain the edited club name.

This evening (UK Time) we will be putting up the update on Steam that fixes this.

when continuing the game it should load you to your inbox, if you do not check it on a regular basis you miss important things such as players transfers or rfl fines to which your board dislike getting fines resulting in nearly losing your job. Also maybe have it so any important messages are brought to your attention immediately i.e your squad does not have 3 u21 players in the main squad.

love the game so in depth.

Great game. Could you sort that when you are playing in the game you get job offers from other clubs and you can apply whenbthey become available. Same when you get sacked.

An enhanced Editor would be great. The ability to transfer players instead of having to create them, which is a ball-ache let's face it.
