Not at all suprised...the rfl have not an higher or lower in my estimation. We all know they are a joke and expect decisions like this.

Its a joke, but that is what the RFL are. You just can`t do what Keiron did and get away with something so blatent, wether he was lying on or not. The other joke is that we have to put up with this referee ruining games, he was shocking for both sides, and should be demoted.

They gave him the benefit of the doubt where his intentions were concerned. They opted to believe he did not intend to injury Stosic, which is probably true.

So by the same token, if there is a mass brawl, should we send off everyone who throws a single punch?

To get them off you! That's what it was about and it's bloody obvious when it's seen on TV. Sheer frustration because Cunningham wanted to get a move on and wasn't being allowed.



I'd like to see less of the lying on at PTB. I think it's creating friction everywhere, including on the terraces, and doing nothing to enhance our sport.



And it wasn't a punch! I think the RFL's use of the word 'jab' was a more accurate description.

No, they said he did intend to hit Stosic, but that the contact to the eye area was not intended. How you can intentionally throw a punch but unintentionally make any contact is baffling.

Correct decision.



To call it a punch is a complete over reaction.



He hardly touched him, infact to make such a big fuss about being tapped like he did and then having a 'fractured eye socket', 'fractured cheek bone' and whatever else, is completely embarrasing.



Lets hope he never gets one on the chin.

Since that is where the injury occurred, I don't see what the issue is? He didn't intend hitting his eye, which is what all the hysteria was about. If he'd shoved him on his back or pushed the ball into his shoulder or something to get Stosic the hell off himself, then no-one would have even noticed, much less had screaming fits over it. As is, he hit out to get him off and unintentionally hit his eye, which is where the injury occurred. Like I said earlier.
