Like the banks they are cutting costs, but not necassarily cutting services or projects, cutting back overheads in the current climate is happening everywhere and any company that doesn't streamline itself will go to the wall pretty swiftly.

They are cutting back on projects. One thing I didn't clarify is the severity of their request. The simple fact is; there isn't 20% in professional fees to take out, never mind 50%. Tesco are actually cutting back their staffing levels with their property division. More worrying for you guys is their cutbacks in mixed-use developments: http://www.building.co.uk/story.asp?sec ... de=3136663 I don't want to appear as a troll, but anybody will struggle to gain funding on non-short term capital return. I would be very surprised if the stadium started this year. I hope I am wrong though.

Quite well actually.

Profits are expected to be up this year with more stores opening. Net income will hopefully be larger than the previous tax years but i do expect us to do well.
