Potter at half time... : Mon May 04, 2009 10:24 am
Anyone watch the sky coverage when they went to the changing rooms during half time. Potter was stood there looking into space rather than rail roading his players as i believe Anderson used to do.

Anyone would have thought it was Wigan who was 24-6 down at half time.

Has he lost control already?

Perhaps like the players he was in a state of shock about the all conquering (9th placed) Wigan side, for whom glory now surely awaits?

You watching the game again?

Seriously though, i used to like DA giving the players a rollocking, because it showed he was passionate about the team, but it seems that brian potter's style of management is not to rollock the team.

I wouldnt say he has lost control though.

Well you can't help admit if you have anything about you as a saints fan, that on the day in edinburgh we were beaten by the better team. It hurts to say as a saints fan but its true.

Nice try cockle but shouting and balling the dressing room is for amateur level coaching. You might get a few n00bs on here complaining about the collapse of the team after two defeats. Most of us know better though. I blame the communist cap anyway for our loss because it's allowed you to catch us up for eighty minutes.

I commented about it at the time and my view was that Harry had said something like "What was all that in aid of?".

I don't think he should be effing and geffing but he should have been pointing out our errors or the signs of weakness in the Wigan team. It showed the Wigan dressing room and Nobby was sat down talking to his players in a controlled manner.
