Without doubt. Old rugby was worse than old football so it doesn't count.

The SL era players would thoroughly dominate our 'best ever' lineup.

They didn't play well all the time and both were battered by injuries, but when they clicked, and it happened alot, it was a joy to watch

His defence was good!

And you say over rated? More like under rated.

He should have been a regular for GB.

The only thing he didn't have was pace.

Your correct about his lack of pace, and he was a poor defender.
