'Joining Jack' single premiering at Friday's match : Thu Sep 06, 2012 11:15 am  

Wigan fan in peace!

Sacred Heart School Choir, Wigan, has recorded a single 'I'm a Small Part of Jack's World' in aid of the ‘Joining Jack’ charity.

The children are premiering the song at the Wigan v Saints match on Friday, so please give them a great reception!

The single will be available for download for 99p, all of which will go to the charity, and if they manage to get 2000 downloads in a week, it could go into the top 40. Obviously this would be great publicity for the charity, so please encourage as many of your friends and family as possible to download this song over the next week.

Incidently, are Saints going to be wearing a different charity shirt to the one we wore against Hull KR? A specific Joining Jack one?

They are wearing the home shirt with the Joining Jack logo in the place of Typhoo. Game shirts will be up for auction after the game obviously with all funds going to Joining Jack IIRC . Replicas arent being sold as far as i know. Unlike Wigan who have gone all out with a new shirt etc etc.

I think people should look into and understand all the facts about Muscular Dystrophy in general before jumping in and supporting JUST this charity. There are far worse and more rare forms of this Disease. All money's should go to Support MD (The Muscular Dystrophy Organisation)
Would there be all this support if it was for somebody else and not an Ex Rugby league player's child.
