I think recent twists and turns show it is best not to get too excited until contracts have actually been signed and exchanged, but we seem to have attracted the attention of a family where the patriarch seems to have plans to change the whole game and getting involved at Odsal would be a part of this vision.

Discussions on the board about relegation before the latest truck load of brown stuff was thrown at the "Bulls Fans" all centred round the strength and size of the squad come the second half of the season being one of the keys to avoiding the drop - so anyone who could come in and give FC a half a dozen extra squad members mainly in the front row would really bring down the odds on the Bulls beating the cut. Finders, toes crossed, rabbits foot stroked and all that.

In all seriousness I dont know much about her, apart from the fact that along with Marwan she too has fell in love with not Salford Red Devils but RL in general.

Sounds like a canny buisness move from Mrs Koukash maybe she had new sponsers already lined up and we will merge into the "Red Bulls".

Bradford are currently bottom of Super League after having six points deducted for going into administration and, although Koukash suggested there could be a legal battle to reinstate the points, he says funds would be made available to coach Francis Cummins to enable him to strengthen the squad in their fight to avoid relegation.

I'd guess the legal action comment is just a blunter version of the appeal process the RFL have already said any new owners could proceed with.

Lamb I think is clearly a front for someone closer to the action, didn't red suggest Hood was involved in that bid?

Im not going to get excited or pass judgement until we have a winner and see the details of the winning bid and the RFL's responce, the devil is in the detail. Some hurdles to clear yet.

Amen to that. One thing no one has commented on is how the club under new owners could exit 'special measures', as I'm sure I read we couldn't make any permanent signings until we did. Does anyone know how you achieve that as it would seem pretty fundamental in strengthening the squad.

PS - love to see Scruton come back, his behavior showed the right stuff (if you believe the story as published)

PPS - FC mentioned he almost got another prop on loan for the weekend but it fell apart at the last minute, anyone any idea who it was?

Thank you, it has been good to have friends like you in the game. It restores one's faith. Win or loose, we are all in the game for entertainment and the camaraderie with other supporters.

Not really correct. Size of her bid has no bearing on others if it's ineligble due to rules about one person owning two clubs. She will need to prove that her finances are independent of the dr's. People keep mentioning hetheringtons as a precedent but neither of them are club owners so not sure it's relevant.
