Seems Mrs Koucash is no longer the favourite Guardian this afternoon " although sources close to the club suggest Richard Lamb, a London-based businessman whose company supplied hospitality during last autumn's World Cup, is more likely to emerge as the latest saviour of the Bulls." http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/m ... rian-noble The plot thickens I suppose we will have to wait, but will give the Koukash family a wave tomorrow.

Fascinating is the word, I guess.

To put it into a perspective which, more or less, mirrors a normal domestic situation, I would no more buy a car without consulting my wife than I would bugger off on holiday and not tell her, and the same applies to her - that is how close relationships work, to be honest. So is he up to speed on what she's doing doing with her 'investment'? I'd be pretty surprised if he wasn't.

Pretty certain that lamb is RFLs preferred bidder. Comes down to who has bid that administrator chooses and would RFL block koukash bid if administrator chose it over lamb.

Did Koukash clear the debts at Salford (were there substantial debts?)? The administrator holds the key - it's up to him to decide the best deal for creditors. Lamb has already accepted the points and cut in funding so I can't see that he's offering more.

The RFL is a different matter but if they block the administrator's preferred choice then you can see all hell breaking loose.

Koukash made a CVA agreement with creditors at Salford to pay them back in full but spread over a five year period. But Salford weren't in admin. Suspect once administrator is appointed then it has to cash up front.

The last time the administrator chose Bulls 2014 bid rather than Lambs. Under the terms of the legislation to which he works that must mean Lamb's was a worse deal for the creditors.
Has he changed/ improved his bid?
Mrs K has passed the fit and proper person test and it seems there is no regulation that could be invoked to show a conflict of interest .
So what possible valid reason could the RFL cite IF the professional judgement of the administrator is to recommend Mrs K's bid to the creditors.

Can you imagine it? RFL knock back multimillionaire in favour of what some say is their preferred bidder and appoint Mr Lamb who is rumoured to have previous chairman Peter Hood heavily involved with his group
